Step 8: Press and hold the mouse button to select the range of cells.
Step 9: Click on Shrink button again to insert the range selected.
Step 10: Click on the OK button of the Function Wizard. The result will be displayed in the cell G2.
3.10.11 Auto Fill
It is a feature in the spreadsheet package like LibreOffice Calc in which a certain kind of predefined series of data such
as name of months of a year, serial numbers, etc., are automatically generated once the user feeds the initial data.
3.10.12 Copying and Moving Formula
To apply the same formula across multiple cells in rows or columns, you don't need to re-enter it for each cell. Instead,
you can copy the formula to other cells, which saves time and effort, especially with long or complex formulas, and
minimises the risk of errors.
(i) Use of Copy and Paste Commands for Copying Formula
(ii) Use of Cut and Paste Commands for moving Formula
Step 1: Select the cell with the Formula you want to copy.
Step 2: Click on the Copy/Cut button from the Standard toolbar.
OR
Press Ctrl + C to copy the formula.
Press Ctrl + X to move the formula.
Step 3: Select the destination cell where you want to paste the formula.
